DT Project - The Sisters of Craft Blog Challenge - March 2015

Yippee, it's time for the start of a new challenge over on The Sisters of Craft Blog Challenge. Remember any craft goes, it doesn't have to be paper craft, and you have a month to enter. Don't forget to check the SOC blog to see if you won the last challenge and check out all the other DT projects.

Our sponsor this month is The Paper Shelter,

and the winner of our March challenge will receive a $15 dollar gift voucher!

For my DT project I have used 'Smart Snow White'.  The reason I picked this image was because it brings back memories from childhood.  I was lucky enough to be Snow White in the local Carnival with our Brownie group.  It was one of the happiest days ever, smiling and waving at everyone from the float as it rumbled through the streets of our town, I felt like a true princess!  I've always loved Snow White's outfit as red and blue are two of my favourite colours, and I'm so jealous of her jet black hair!

Well that's enough nostalgia, time to share my creation using the image.

I coloured the image with the following Graph It Markers Skin; 4115, 4120, 4125, 4155, 4180 Lips; 5220 Eyes; 7125, 7130, 9101 Cheeks; 4135, 4145 Hair; 9407, 9501, 9502, 9505, 9909 Dress; 1140, 1150, 2120, 1250, Top; 5220, 5250, 7125, 7130, 7175, Shoes; 3180, 4145, 5220, 5250 Leaf; 8240, 8280 Apple; 3180, 4145, 5215, 5225, 5250 Grass; 8260, 8270, 8280 Flowers; 1250, 2120, 5220, 5250 Trunk; 3160, 3170, 3180, Stones; 9401, 9403 Crown; 5220, Silver Shaker.

I then decoupaged the image.  Printed the background, which is provided with the image bundle, twice and used it as the background and as the front aperture to make a shadow box front.  The brads and flowers, edged with Graph It marker 5125, are from my stash.

I wish to enter this into the following challenges;
