Vintage Heaven by Debbi Moore

Carley Duff will be showcasing Debbi Moore's Vintage Heaven (Haberdashery and Flutterby) brand today at 9am and 6pm.  Unfortunately the deadline was quite tight so no time to get samples posted to the studio, but I have used the free download Debbi shared on her Facebook page to bring these three makes to my blog followers and visitors.  I hope you can tune into the show.

Added gems from my stash to the Thank You card.
3D foam pads to add height on the For Someone Special card.
Added gems from my stash and a tassel from Joanna Sheen to make a bookmark.  The book is a signed copy of Joanna Sheen's third cosy murder mystery novel.
Love this sentiment.

Faery Ink Inspiration - Dragon Tamer

Morning Bloggers!

It's my turn to share some Faery Ink inspiration.  I picked Dragon Tamer from the new releases.  I love dragons and I new I had the perfect papers to use with this image.

I have coloured this image using my Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils, this is the first time I have used them for anything more than highlighting.

The papers, sentiment, ribbon, corner and gems (dragon eggs) are from Lelli-bot's Fantasy Dragons kit.

A Clean & Simple Heart

Hello!  Just a quick post from me today sharing a CAS card.

The card base is made from Anna Marie Designs cardstock which I rounded the corners on using a punch. I die cut a panel from the same cardstock using Noor! Design Cutting & Embossing Rectangle Frame.

Stamped a heart using an old Creata set in Festive Berries distress ink (Top Tip: to get the distress ink to stay on a clear stamp use a little Versamark Clear Ink to give the distress a base to cling to).  I then fussy cut, curved and attached the heart using 3D foam pads.

Trimcraft Neroli Pad - ATC

Evening Bloggers!

So all week I have been sharing samples made using the Trimcraft Neroli pad and it's surprising just how far the few papers from that pad went, with the tiny scraps left over I made an ATC.

Trimcraft Neroli Pad - Set of Notelets

Hello All!

More samples using the Trimcraft Neroli pad, this time a set of notelets.

These were so simple to make, I cut squares from the pad using Tattered Lace Essentials die and used the Smile sentiment from an Alte New stamp set with black ink and clear embossing powder and tied them with a scrap of crocheted ribbon from my stash.

I added some Sakura pen to the pattern on the gold card.  The card blanks are from my stash.

Trimcraft Neroli Paper Pad - Noel

Hi all

I know it's a bit early for Christmas cards but I think these sheets from theTrimcraft Neroli pad look very Scandi in style, so I just couldn't resist.

I used a deer punch from Keep on Crafting.

The Noel is die cut using Cuttlebug Babyface dies.  The aperture is cut using a Stampin' Up punch.

Faery Ink New Release - Autumn Rose Spring Bride

Afternoon everyone!

Yay it's Friday and that means it's time for a new release over at Faery Ink.  My new release is Spring Bride.  I had a go at colouring this image using my Graph It markers in sepia tones and I'm most pleased with it.  I have made a twisted easel card.
The papers, sentiment and flowers are from Craftwork Cards, the Vogue set I think!  I  have also used a little lush chocolate colouring mirri.

Trimcraft Neroli Paper Pad - Joy is a flower...

Evening Visitors.

I hope your day has been productive or restful or whatever you were hoping for!

My project today is a card using the Trimcraft Neroli pad, another sample for Carley Duff's USA show.  You might wonder why I have just written one post, two reasons, one it's a four day deal and two it give's me a chance to get some craft down as these post are already scheduled, so you see it serves two purposes!

I think this were some of my favourite papers from the Neroli pad, there remind me of a Regency period drama, I think it's the shades of blue and cream.
The only whole sheet I have used is the front one, the corner ones are cut of pieces as I didn't want to waste any!  The flower is made from another pieces which I have cut the pattern from and using a foam pad to build it up.

Easter Basket (with tutorial) using Trimcraft Neroli pad

Hello everybody, today I am sharing my first sample for Carley Duff's USA C&C show using the Trimcraft Neroli Pad.

My first make is an Easter basket and I thought I would share a quick tutorial on how to make this simple piece.

Trim a sheet of the card to 18 cm x 20 cm.  Score at 6 cm x 11 cm and use a bone folder to crease the score lines.

Cut from one side to where the lines cross, do the same on the opposite side.

Attached double sided tape (I have also used wet glue) to the four corners.

The handle can be attached inside the flaps when folding and gluing the sides or by using brads.  I have fussy cut flowers from another sheet to decorate.

Fill with delicious sweets!
Unfortunately my delicious sweets seemed to have disappeared, you just can't trust the Easter bunny these days !

Another CAS Mix Up

Greetings all!

I enjoyed making yesterday's CAS Mix Up card so much that I decided to try another.  It turned out slightly more grungy this time though so I hope it passes muster at CAS Mix Up Challenge.

I have used a 6 x 6 card based coloured with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, sprinkled with water (my choice-splatter).
I have used a piece of watercolour paper torn from a pad and coloured with a Spectrum Aquas (watercolour) after stamping in black ink and embossing with clear powder the sentiment (stamping) from Visible Image.  I have masked off some of the stamp and picked out the words, Best Friend, Smile and Laugh.
I mounted using 3D foam pads this on black Anna Marie Designs card and crumpled both pieces and and adhered to the card from with 2 layers of 3D foam pads.

CAS Mix Up - eh say again!

I recently came across a new challenge, the CAS Mix Up Challenge which sounds really different and a lot of fun.

I have used black cardstock from Anna Marie Designs as my base card card with a Tattered Lace Essentials Decorative Edge Squares die (my choice), I also used these to cut a piece of watercolour card.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment (stamping)which is from Woodware using black ink and clear embossing powder.  I have created the rainbow effect using Spectrum Aqua markers (water colouring).  I also added some faux-stitching in the same colours.

"Anna Marie" Style Voucher Pocket

Good Evening!

I expect my regular visitors have noticed that I love Anna Marie products and her crafting style, so it will come as no surprise that I had a huge amount of fun making this pretty voucher pocket for my mum's luxury pedicure voucher for Mother's Day.

I have used corrugated card, purple canvas card, (both edged with Vintage Photo distress ink) bird ribbon, dotty acetate (cut in to strips and curled), dried flowers, natural fibre, stamens, flower buds, pearl strand and paper flower all from Anna Marie Designs.
The Beautiful stamp is from Close to my Heart "Find Your Style" set and I created a pattern at the edge of the card using adhesive lace and Vintage Photo ink.
I folder and attached a sheet of A4 textured paper on the back to create a pocket to hold the voucher.
It was nice to work with embellishments especially after yesterday's CAS card
