Crystal Art 40 x 90 Canvas

Good Morning Peeps

So I mentioned on Wednesday that I had been undertaking a large DT project and here it is, Nature's Song crystal art canvas.

It took quite a few afternoons of work but it was very calming.  Also ideal as I have been suffering from a sore throat, cough and just about every other cold symptom, and I still can't seem to shift it, for just sitting and crafting, no need to get out all my stash and it's the first time in a while I have seen my craft table!

There is also a video but it's too big for blogger but you can can see it on my FB page or Instagram.  You can order this and lots of other size crystal art canvases and cards from here.

Keep on Crafting Shop Blog Makes 4th - 6th Oct

Good Morning Crafters

My blog has been quiet lately for two reasons; firstly I have been undertaking a very large DT project which I will share on Friday and secondly I have been knocked backwards and upside down by a sore throat and cough which refuses to disppear, it looks as if a trip to the drs might be on the cards if it hasn't gone by the end of this week.

Anyway that's enough of my woes, here are the samples I made for the Keep on Crafting shop blog last week.

First up was a card using Izink pigment inks and stamps and stencils from John Lockwood.

My second project was a Christmas card using a Woodware stamp and Kuretake Clean Color pens.

Morning Peeps!

Today I'm sharing my makes for the shop blog from last week.

Wednesday's make was a Christmas card using a decoupage sheet from Craft Creations Ltd, and if you look closely at the bottom of the card you can see I have used the Boot Prints stencil from Creative Expressions to emboss footprints.

On Thursday I used some Crafting Together stamps to make an Autumn birthday card.  Sentiment is a Woodware stamp.

Friday was a masculine Winter birthday using stamps from John Lockwood. Same sentiment as the Autumn card.

Memory Page - Kuma

Morning Crafters

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page of my dog, Kuma, an Akita. He was our dog before we had Fergus.  Sadly he is no longer with us, it's been a few years and it still leaves me feeling sad but Fergus fills my heart many times over.

I have used various elements from a Studio Light Paper Pad, doily and rosette from Docrafts, buttons and washi tape from my stash.  The photographs were taken by my dad.

Wine Cellar

Hello Peeps!

It's the start of the second week of our holiday (we are not away but taking a break from work).  No specific plans for today, I am meeting up with a friend tomorrow though.

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a friend's birthday.  This was for a male friend although the card isn't specifically male, it had to be fairly flat and simple so I could post it.

I have used a backing sheet from a Debbi Moore Bookazine and topper and elements from Kanban on a DL card.

Sing Birthday Card

Morning Peeps!

Wednesday's dental check-up went well but unfortunately the inside of my cheek had a run-in with the Hygienist's tool which gave me a very soare mouth so no tea and cake just straight home for some Ibruprofen.  Today I have a bone scan, I have to have these every couple of years since the chemo.  It doesn't take too long then we have a play date booked for Fergus with my parents Labarador.

Today I'm sharing a commissioned card.  My customer spotted this previous card and asked for one similar to give to a family member.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

On Thursday I shared this Polar Bear stamp on a Brusho stencil background.

Robots in Disguise!

Hello Peeps!

My hubby now has two weeks off work, we have lots planned, today starts with taking our Newfoundland Fergus to the groomers, he is a little over due his 3 month groom.

Today I am sharing the card I made from my hubby's birthday at the beginning of September.  He is a big Transformers fan, he loved the cartoon as a kid and now really enjoys the films.  Our VW Transporter which we turned into a camper, had a sticker on the back saying "Transporters, Campers in Disguise."  We had a lot of fun camping in it and hope to have another one at some point.

On holiday in Scotland with our VW transporter.  I made the curtains and hanging heart myself.
The image is a postcard which I bought from Ebay with a bundle of others.

The cogs, chain, star and Happy Birthday are freebie stamps from Creative Stamping magazine and the Husband is from the Woodware The Waistcoat stamp set from Keep on Crafting.

I have mat and layered it on black cardstock from Creative Crafting World, red and blue paper from my stash and mirri cardstock also from Creative Crafting World.

Mission Inspiration: August 2017

Good Morning Peeps

The end of another week and I've been very busy trying to get ahead of myself.  Hubby now has two weeks off work and we hoping to get a few things in the house and garden down as well as a few trips out and friends visiting so probably not much time to craft.

Today I'm sharing my first Mission Inspiration.  This is the prompt for August.  I joined the Mission Inspiration Facebook Group a while ago but only just found myself with enough time and courage to take part.

My journal is spiral bound and measures 7.5 in x 6.5 in it's from Imagination Crafts and I bought it from Keep on Crafting in Bury St Edmunds.

The stencil was a freebie from a magazine and the stamp is Prima, also bought from Keep on Crafting.

I have used one of my own photographs for the image. I took this during the Tour of Britain as it passed through Needham Market.

I just read the brief for September and it's going to be very challenging but I'm looking forward to taking part again.

Crystal Art Card Kit - Robin

Morning Peeps!

I have some more Christmassy bling to share with you today, you can see my previous Christmas bling post here.

This time I have a sparkly Robin, I particularly like him on the black background.

Bling isn't something I'm big on but I am so enjoying make these cards and I really think if you can't go bling for Christmas when can you!  Also the crystals look striking rather than overwhelming and tacky.

Crystal Art - CT Post - Christmas in London

Good Morning Crafters

I'm so pleased to be able to tell you that I am part of the Creative Team for Crystal Art Card Kits from Craft Buddy Ltd.  This is my first completed design sample and is one of many new designs that are being released today.

I find these kits very calming and relaxing, a little like colouring I think it would classed as a mindful type of craft.

You can see my Merry Christmas Tree here.

Forest Friends - Creative Crafting World

Good Morning Crafters

I hope you are having a good week.  It's feeling a little Autumnal today which has me a little giddy as I love Autumn.

Today I'm sharing a make using the Forest Friends Papercraft Collection from Creative Crafting World.  When I saw this I just fell in love with the artwork and the colour tones.  I have used one the concept cards with the animal elemtents but have also taken a topper from one of the other sheets.  I want to use some of the toppers individually with other crafty stash and also some of the pieces for scrapbooking, there is a particularly nice sentiment I want to use for a page using photos of Fergus.

Not really a lot more to say about this card so I hope like me you will just admire the lovely illustrations.

Gothic Lace Congratulations

Morning Crafters

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  On Saturday I attended a further Distress Oxides workshop at Keep on Crafting in Bury St Edmunds, we had great fun making lots of fabulous backgrounds and stamped images, and learnt some new techniques.  I will share the results soon.

Today I'm sharing the last of the four cards I made one afternoon using the Gothic Lace Lelli-Bot Crafts kit.  Everything is from the kit including all the embellishments.  I still have lots left over so expect some more of these in the future, hopefully you aren't bored of them yet lol!

I stitched the charm to the card.
