I have some very exciting news to share today. As many of you probably know by now, Keep on Crafting is my favourite independent craft shop and I'm thrilled to say that Mandy, the proprietor has asked if I would like to contribute to the new Keep on Crafting blog! I am so looking forward to sharing projects, inspiration, tips and techniques with you, and keep your eyes peeled for shop and website special offers and discounts too!
Let me tell you a little about this award winning shop. First off, it's won the International Craft Awards Silver Award two years in a row for Best Independent Craft Shop in the South East of England. (Voting is now open for 2017, click here.)
The shop is located in Risbygate Street in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Here you will find medieval architecture, a scattering of boutique shops, an elegant Georgian Square with a stunning Cathedral and the Abbey ruins set in striking gardens.
Mandy and her team Chris, Dot and Margaret have an incredible wealth of crafting knowledge between them and are always ready to answer your crafty questions. The whole team love to promote craft education and help crafters get the best possible use from their products and the variety of ways to use them. Most Saturdays there is a workshop and these can be booked by popping into the shop, on the website or by phone. Or, if you want to learn about a new product or advance your techniques there are often demo days just pop into the shop between the times advertised.
The shop may be small but the range is diverse and includes many of the top brands such as Tim Holtz, Creative Expressions, Crafter's Companion, Hunkydory, Snipart, Paperartsy, Imagination Crafts, Stix2 and many others. There are plenty of products for all your papercrafting, scrapbooking and mixed media needs.

Something else to mention about the Imagination Crafts products is, if you spot them on TV they are usually in stock at Keep on Crafting at the same time, so why not save on postage or buying the big bundles and purchase from Keep on Crafting, don't forget UK P&P is free when your order is over £3.
If you do pop into the shop don't forget to mention that you heard about it here! 😊
I will be back tomorrow with my first inspirational Keep on Crafting post.
Creative Blessings. x
