Today I'm sharing a Halloween card, I made this for an easel card challenge in a Facebook group.  I adore this kit from Lelli-bots as I love dragons and I think they are a something a little different from the usual Halloween cards.

Autumn Swap Card

Good Morning

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Today's card is something along the Autumn theme made for a swap in a Facebook group.

I have used an old kit from Create and Craft called Country Treasures.  The images, chick die cut, backing sheet, sentiment and gate are from the kit.

The gate is coloured with Imagine Crafts Patina Paints.  The leaves are die cut using Noor! (Joy!) Design dies and scrunched and coloured with distress inks.

Cookie Monster

Hello Crafters

My sister was going to get rid of this stamp so I grabbed it fast, probably about as fast as I grab cookies!  I thought this humourous sentiment worked well. I coloured the image a long time ago with pencils so this was a super quick card to make.

Beachcomber Girl

Good Morning Crafters

Last week I shared a nautical index card I made for a YouTube Giveaway and today I am sharing the nautical card that I sent with it.

I can't remember who the stamp is by, I stamped it sometime ago.  The image is coloured with colouring pencils and the sentiment stamp is from Rare Earth.  This is an 8x8 card cut in half with the crease down the side to make a side opening DL card.

First Day of School

Hello Peeps

Today I am sharing a card made for my friend's little girl who started school this month.  You may have seen a photo or two of her with Fergus my Newfoundland, she looks so tiny I just can't believe she's ready for school.

The image is To School by Mo Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil and is colouring using Graph It and Copic markers.  I made the background using washi tape, and the numbers and letters are painted with Paperartsy paints.

Index Card

Hello Crafters

Finally I think the craft room is almost sorted, there are a few things I want to go through and reorganise/declutter but at least I can get back to crafting and blogging on a more consistent basis.

I recently took part in a YouTube subscriber giveaway, part the rules were to produce an ID card with your details on.  As I know this lady likes nautical themes I used a stamp set from Creative Stamping magazine.  I coloured the image with distress markers and added a paperclip to the back so it could be used in a planner or journal or even as a bookmark.

The letters are painted with Paperartsy Chalk Paint.  I'm pretty sure I will be using this chap again, there is something very appealing about this stamp, it also makes me think of tattoos!

Imagination Journal Page

Good Morning Crafters

It has been a while since I created a journal page but a few weeks ago I attended a class tutored by Rushanne at Keep on Crafting.  This was a beginners class and was about techniques to break the white page which I think most people find the hardest part.  We also journalled out of the journal which meant if anyone was unhappy with they journalling it wasn't stuck in their book.

We made two pages, this is my first using Woodware stamps, mica powders, stencils and distress oxides.  It's quite simple but I'm happy with it hence .  My second page is a work in progress so I will share this at a later date.

A Jar of Thanks

Morning Crafters

I think a bouquet of flowers is a lovely way to say thank you and this Woodware stamp is the perfect design to say thanks.

Two things I have done to make this card pop is stamp the design on a second piece of card and cut the flowers out to decoupage them and matched the base card.  Finding cardstock to match a colour perfectly is a rare stroke of luck, however you can also coordinate your base using the pen or paint you used to colour your image, which is exactly what I did here.

Supplies from Keep on Crafting;

Distress Inks; Seedless Preserve, Chipped Sapphire
Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush pens; Light Green 041, Olive Green 043, Mid Green 046, Yellow 050, Orange 070, Flesh 071, Light Violet 081
Archival Ink
Versafine Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Watercolour Card
White cardstock
Black cardstock

If you missed the video on how to create the background you can find it here.

New Project, Old Kit

Good Morning

I'm sharing a card I made for a challenge in the Crafty Army with Carley Facebook Group.  The challenge was to use red.  As my craft room was in a bit of a pickle I decided to use one of the old Lelli-Bot kits so I had quick access to a range of papers and embellishments.

Good Morning Crafters

Supplies from Keep on Crafting;
Polystyrene Wreath
Katy Sue Pansies mould (leaves)
Wow Rose Quartet mould
Hearty Paperclay; Magenta, Yellow, Dark Green & Green

Other supplies from my stash;

Using pretty scraps - Anna Marie Designs

Good Morning Crafters

I hope you are out enjoying the sun if you love it, or if like me you start to melt quicker than an ice lolly in anything above 22 degrees, that you have managed to find somewhere cool to chill out.

Today I'm sharing some tags and ATCs that I made using the scraps from the four sheets I used to make the mini bird house.

I used 2 greyboard tags as a templates and made each tag slightly different by rounding the corners, adding 3D Schnee dots, Crushed Ice Crystals borders and different ribbons.  I have edged the tags with Forest Moss and Fired Brick distress inks.

My ATCs are also made from the scraps of the pages from the Christmas Jingle pad.  I have added Crushed Ice Crystals, Voile, half Pearls, Natural Accents, Stamens, Flowers and ribbon.

Mini Bird Box - Anna Marie Designs

Hello Crafters

Today I am sharing a mini Christmas make.  All the supplies are from Anna Marie Designs.

The Bird Box comes as a little flat pack MDF piece (a set of three) which I have covered with papers from the Christmas Jingle 7 x7 pad before piecing it together.  I haven't glued it as it fits together very well and I also wanted the lid to be removable so you could add a small gift.
I adhered half Pearls (the packet contains assorted sizes) around the box opening with a dries clear glue.  The floor has been embellished using Natural Moss, various Stamens and elements from the Natural Accents Bundle.  For the roof I have added a Natural Pine Cone, Microbeaded Berry and Rose Hip Berries with Wooden Engraved Christmas Tiles

To finish I trimmed the roof with ribbon and added Crushed Ice Crystals and 3D Schnee (snow in a bottle).

Blog Catch-up and CraftStash Offers

Good Morning

Firstly a little catch-up to explain my abscene.  As I mentioned previously my freelance work has increased which is good news by it does mean my time to write blog posts and be creative has decreased.  I am also in the process of changing the furniture in my craft room so things a little disorganised on that front but once this is sorted it should at least take me less time to find the things I need to create projects. I'm still hoping to get back to my three blog posts a week on here but for the time being I'm going to take a short break to allow myself to catch-up and, if possible, get ahead of myself!

In the meantime I wanted to share that CraftStash are offering FREE DELIVERY and double loyalty points for today only!  You can see my small crafty haul from CraftStash in this video.
