Get Well Soon - Popcorn

Morning Crafters

I hope you had a lovely weekend, we went out and about enjoying the Winter sunshine.  On Friday I was having a sort out of my craftroom and found a box of cross stitched pieces I stitched a few years ago.  I decided to put the pieces I found onto cards.

This is Popcorn the bear, he used to be quite a popular character especially in cross stitch and he has his own facebook page here.

I have simply frayed the edges mounted him on chocolate cardstock from Creative Crafting World and then on to Kraft card from Anna Marie Designs.

The sentiment is a free stamp from Making Cards magazine using Cocoa Memento Ink.  As Popcorn is holding his blanket I thought the 'get well' sentiment was appropriate.

I would love to know if any of you stitch and if you use stitching in your papercrafting?

Creative Blessings.  x

Hi Tracy, Popcorn looks so cute and love how you have combined card making and cross stitching. The frayed edges look great. I used to cross stitch and long stitch but sad to say not done any for a long time. Hugs Jennifer xx
