Cross Stitch Catch-up

Hello

Just recently I have got back in to cross stitch.  It started when my sister had her baby, up until then I had not done much cross stitching for a number of years.

The first piece I finished was a dog on a vest.  My sister is a cat person and I'm a dog person so I feel I need to champion Team Dog to Lottie lol!

The second was a vest for Halloween.  I also made the skirt using material from Minerva Crafts.  It's being modeled here by my bear, Mrs Spencer.

My most recent piece was a Thank You card from Lottie and me to a very good friend (who is also known as Aunty to Lottie) to thank her for a special book she bought us, "Winnie the Pooh's 50 things to do before I'm 53/4".  Most of you probably know that I am big Winnie Pooh fan but what you may not know is my nickname for Lottie is Piglet.  I have called her this since I found out my sister was pregnant, because I love Pooh Bear and because Lottie was born in the Chinese year of the Pig.  I think Lottie and I will have lots of fun adventures and "expositions" as we work our way through the book.

I have finished another Disney piece but have not yet turned it into a project so I will share that once it is finished.

Do you enjoy cross stitch?

Autumn ATCs

Hello

Today I am sharing some Autumnal ATCs.  I know Autumn is a long way off but it is my favourite season so it crops up a lot.  These were actually made for a swap for Autumn 2019 but I have not got around to sharing them on my blog or YouTube channel.

I have used a lot of items gifted to me from a friend in Holland I met through Instagram, and also one of my favourite Woodware stamps.  I decided to decorate the envelopes too.

Have a lovely weekend.

IMALA Floral Bulb card and necklace

Hello

Today's make is a card and gift using the IMALA Floral Bulb Stamp from Toni Darroch and Carley Duff.

These are such big stamps I really wanted to see how they would turn out on shrink plastic and I thought the bulb one would work particularly well.  I have used POSCA pens to colour the images.

You can also see the process video on my YouTube channel.

Scandinavian Folk Art Fox card

Hello!

I made this Fox card for my niece for her 5 months "birthday".  Every month I send her a card or a small gift as I don't get to see her anywhere near as often as I would like.

I used Carley Duff Signature Collection Scandinavian Folk Art bundle to create this cute girly card.

If you would like to see the unboxing of the collection and process video of the card, please pop along to my YouTube channel.

Gorjuss Girls Birthday Card

Hello

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  Today I wanted to share the birthday card I made for my sister.  I used my Gorjuss Girls products but it's mostly the packaging as Santoro always produce such fabulous packets with lots of extra elements to cut out. In fact, I only used three product pieces the rest are all from packaging.

I also recorded the making of this card which you can see here.
