Merry Makes - June 2020

Hello

I hope everyone is well.  Have you started your Christmas crafting yet?  I have been trying to get ahead with my Christmas cards.  I remembered I had a few pieces left over from the sets Hunkydory sent to me for review.  I have linked to the Hunkydory website (these are not affiliate links).  Also I wanted to share a link to three of my favourites of their recent Christmas releases, I adore them.  Christmas in Acorn Wood looks super cute, Christmas Sparkle is gorgeous (I particularly love the "A Christmas Like No Udder" and "All Dressed Up" sets) and of course I love the snowy look of Winter Wishes.

First up is a card with a small front pocket, this is where I have added a sentiment tag but it would be perfect for a gift too.  This card uses the The Nutcracker Luxury Topper Set.  I have added *Wink of Stella Clear pen to the fairy's hair and wings and *Glossy Accents to the berries.  The tag says, Have a cracking Christmas time.

My second card uses part of the backing card and the big topper from A Wise Old Winter Luxury Topper set.  To this card I have added *Fluffy Stuff, but instead of heating it, I have let it dry naturally. and also two star gems from my stash.

My final card uses another topper, the rest of the backing sheet, a sentiment and a few scraps from A Wise Old Winter Luxury Topper Set.  To finish this off I have added three flat backed pearls from my stash and some Viva Eiskristall (Crushed Ice Crystals) from Anna Marie Designs.

Happy Birthday Friend

Hello

Today's make is a card using distress oxides (applied with the make brushes from Lidl - I am so impressed with these for blending the distress inks and oxides) and one of many JOFY stamps.  Jo Firth-Young is definitely my favourite designer from Paperartsy.

Supplies used:

Paperartsy Paint - Snowflake
Paperartsy Stamp set JOFY80
Leonie Pujol Dizzy Daisy stamp set

Friend card

Hello

I hope everyone is keeping well and staying safe.  Today I'm sharing a "Hello" card for a friend who lives in the Netherlands.  She loves donkey's so I used the Dudley Hobby Art stamp set.

I've coloured the image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers (distress markers), AlteNew super script stamp and dies and the backing paper is from my stash.

Floral cards

Hello

Happy Friday, at least I think it's Friday, all the days merge into one at the moment!  Today I am sharing two quick cards using some download papers from Carley Duff.

The inspiration for my first one was old botanical books.

Supplies used:
Woodward Old Postcard stamp set
Sentiment from my stash

My second card uses two sheets from the downloads. I fussy cut three sunflowers and cut roughly along the petals to give them a 3D look.  The fairy is coloured with alcohol markers and Wink of Stella pens.

Supplies used:
Sentiment stamp by Bee Crafty
Tattered Lace Roxie Enchanting Fairy die
Adirondack Citrus Ink

Have a fantastic Friday.  Creative Blessings. x
