Pencil Case for my niece

Hello

Before I share today's project I wanted to thank everyone for the lovely comments people have been leaving, I really do appreciate them.

Today's project is a little different, it's another sewing project which I made for my almost-two-year-old niece.  My sister said Lottie had a few pens, pencils and crayons so a pencil case would probably be a good idea.

I lined it with some scrap fabric left over from our blackout blinds I made for the roof windows in our extension/conservatory.  It's vinyl on one side so if anything leaks it should stop it damaging the outer material.

The piglet fabric is from my stash of small pieces of fabric.  The stash is quite large, but now I have the most beautiful excuse to use it.

This is not going to win any sewing bee, but I did learn from it things I could have changed to make it tidier.  The closure is a piece of hook and loop as I thought this would be the easiest for Lottie to use plus I have never inserted a zip into anything!

In The Round - JOFY Online Workshop

Hello

Today I am sharing four cards I made using the latest release from Jo Firth-Young.  These were made in a workshop run online by Stampers Grove.

Supplies Used:

Paperartsy JOFY stamp set 102
Paperartsy JOFY mini stamp JM15
Paperartsy JOFY stencil PS249
Kuretake ZIG millennium pen
Circles dies
Fan brush
Words from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Big Chat booklet and Leonie Pujol Word Sticker Collection.

The top two are my favourite, and it's the first time I have used a sewing machine with my papercrafting.

Creative Blessings.
